In 2000, he was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (PKD). In 2012 he was placed on dialysis and in 2015 he received his kidney transplant.

Since then, he has received his Dialysis Technician Certificate of Completion and Personal Trainer Level 2 Certification. He developed a low to moderate exercise program for people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT), and Kidney Transplant Patients to experience better health.

The program Dialysis Is Not Your Life (DINYL) was birthed from his book to build a community for those living with kidney disease, dialysis, and kidney transplants. The program is designed to increase kidney disease awareness, bridge the gap between the patient and nephrologist, and to reveal the power each patient has within themselves to redefine their lives to live a more quality level of life.

Pastor Hill has been preaching for over 22 years. Pastor Renee Glenn of Life Center Greenville is his spiritual covering. He served under the Bishop Terry McCaskill, Sr for 14 years. He served as the praise and worship leader for 6 years before accepting the call in the ministry as an ordained elder and assistant pastor.

Pastor Hill is also a teacher, singer, songwriter, and author. He is an anointed and gifted man of God, whom God has chosen for this hour. Pastor Hill is a native of Inman, SC. He is married to Phyllis and they have one son, Heaven.
