Reset Life Counseling LLC is a private practice counseling / coaching service that helps to empower people who suffer from chronic kidney disease (Stages 3-5), on dialysis, or awaiting a transplant. We focus on patient wholeness (mind, body, and emotion). We provide 3 services for our clients: One-On-One Counseling, Group Counseling, and caregiver / family counseling. We coach our clients on how to thrive and survive with their condition. Our goal is to counsel, educate, coach, and empower each patient to help them regain their health and redefine their lives while managing kidney disease or dialysis.

Reset Life Counseling LLC provides a structured (5) Week Reset Empowerment Program to manage the impact and disruption of dialysis on the patient and their families. Social care, grief counseling, coping skills and life skills are integrated into the program to empower patients to live and recover their lives while on dialysis.
We provide them with the necessary tools to improve their understanding of the importance of medical adherence, nutrition, exercise, understanding their labs, and caregiver support.
Provide life skills counseling and coaching to help Reset their lives to a positive new normal with kidney disease or while on dialysis.

Discover a stronger sense of self.
Make self-referencing choices.
Set strong boundaries.
Develop clear sense of direction.
Seize the greater potential of what is possible.
Overcome self-imposed limitations.
Allow each client to process out loud, to verbalize their problems and issues and come up with solutions.
Develop a long-term plan to help each person to make behavioral changes to reach goals and better their life. (Mental, Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, Financial).
Help the client understand that accountability on is the only real path to empowerment.
One-On-One
(5) weeks, 1 hour per week private coaching gives you the One-On-One attention that you deserve. Together we will customize your very own game plan. We are committed in helping you to better understand your situation in the following ways:
- Using non-intimidating medical terms.
- Providing you with the opportunity to express the challenges that you face.
- Teaching you how to deal with those challenges.
- Exploring the goals that you want.
- Reset Life Counseling LLC contracted Nurse Practitioner will be available to help you build a better patient-healthcare provider relationship.
Group
(5) weeks, 2 hours per week with graduation and Reset Empowerment Program Completion Certificate. We understand, that often, sharing similar kidney disease challenges in a small group setting (5 - 10 persons) is beneficial. It provides individuals the opportunity to share and learn from one another and know that they are not alone. This program is also held on a tele-health platform (Zoom / Doxy).

- Address having the right mental attitude.
- Adherence to your healthcare teams recommendations.
- Importance of nutrition.
- Exercise.
- Skin care.
- Dialysis options.
- Tools to qualify you for the transplant list.
- Caregiver support.
- How to thrive and survive while going through kidney disease.

Caregiver / Family (Individual and Group)
(5) week, 1 hour per week private coaching gives you the One-On-One attention that you deserve. Kidney disease / Dialysis affects more than the patient. Their caregivers and families also go through the stress and devastation of this chronic illness. Together we will customize your very own game plan.
